00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:14.320
Most AI tricks you see online look amazing in the demo, but then you go try it out and everything falls apart. Welcome back to the closet studio. Today, we are gonna be talking about seven AI tricks that not only I use on real productions with real

00:00:14.400 --> 00:00:20.995
clients, but they all have three things in common. One, they're easy to do. Two, they don't feel

00:00:21.075 --> 00:00:26.995
like AI. And three, they are tricks and tools that you need to stand out as a creator.

00:00:30.515 --> 00:00:31.715
Up first, we have

00:00:32.510 --> 00:00:36.270
trick number one, and that is text change.

00:00:36.990 --> 00:00:49.815
Now this is a very simple trick, but it is very valuable. I've used it in many different productions. So here's what you're gonna do. You're gonna take a screenshot of the clip you wanna change. You're gonna take it into nano banana two, and you're going to type into the prompt change

00:00:49.895 --> 00:00:52.135
the text so that it says

00:00:52.935 --> 00:01:06.270
fill in the blank. And then from there, what you're gonna do is you're gonna take that exported image, and you're gonna bring it into Sea Dance two point o. And here's what you're gonna say. Change the text in at video one to the text in at image one. And from there,

00:01:06.830 --> 00:01:13.790
the AI is going to be able to understand that we need to change the text to the ideal text. Up next, we have trick number two,

00:01:14.335 --> 00:01:16.415
and this is subtle environment

00:01:16.415 --> 00:01:17.135
enhancements.

00:01:18.495 --> 00:01:29.640
The subtle environment enhancement is exactly what it sounds like. It is subtle additions to your shot that just makes it more dynamic, and it's things that people don't even think of. Did you know that directors actually put

00:01:30.040 --> 00:01:34.360
extras in the scene walking in a specific direction for the sole purpose

00:01:34.440 --> 00:01:40.600
of it helps guide the eye of the viewer? There are scenarios where you just want to add subtle enhancements

00:01:40.600 --> 00:01:48.775
to increase or add dynamic. So for this shot right here, I actually added birds. Those birds are not real folks. They're fake birds.

00:01:49.815 --> 00:01:50.775
Fake birds.

00:01:51.095 --> 00:02:29.900
We're gonna use the same exact technique. Take a screenshot from your video, upload it to Nano Banana two, make the changes you want via prompt. From there, you are going to change your environment and add video one to the environment and add image one. Ensure that you keep the same camera movement, lighting, color palette, everything that you wanna keep the same. And then if the generation is nice enough and it's close enough to the original, you can go in and composite it so that you have real aspects as well as AI aspects combined into one. Now not guaranteeing this is gonna work every time. That's something that is still not great with AI just yet. You can get good at it and get close and have workarounds,

00:02:29.900 --> 00:02:36.060
but because AI is regenerating the shot, it's never going to be a 100% identical right now

00:02:36.460 --> 00:02:37.180
because

00:02:37.420 --> 00:02:43.825
it has to regenerate it. That's why I believe heavily in pairing the two so that you can keep real

00:02:44.225 --> 00:02:50.465
aspects to your content. If hey. Remember to check out the link in the description to sign up for Hicksfield,

00:02:50.625 --> 00:02:55.505
and become a member if you wanna see more educational content, exclusive content, and discounts.

00:02:55.990 --> 00:03:00.550
And good shout outs. Shout out to Alexander, Kevin, and Silva. Yeah.

00:03:04.150 --> 00:03:05.750
Check the link in the description.

00:03:05.830 --> 00:03:23.835
Trick number three, and this one's actually very valuable. One two three four. Four. Say you have a wide shot. Like, this could be considered a wide shot, and I don't wanna be able to see this light or this mic. Well, this trick makes it so that I can get rid of that, and I can still have my original

00:03:23.995 --> 00:03:32.050
scene using AI as a catalyst. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take a screenshot of this shot right here, take it into Photoshop actually,

00:03:32.290 --> 00:03:37.810
and I'm just going to select around the areas that I wanna remove. Now I'm going to bring it back

00:03:37.890 --> 00:03:38.690
into

00:03:38.770 --> 00:03:40.290
my editing software,

00:03:40.765 --> 00:03:46.765
mask it so that we can make it look real and we can still keep the human subject there. Trick

00:03:47.245 --> 00:03:48.685
trick number four.

00:03:50.125 --> 00:04:06.900
Now instead of just simply removing the aspects that we want, we're gonna go with a different route. We are going to upload a screenshot of our frame. We are going to take it into nano banana two, and now we're just going to adjust our environment. So what I'm gonna do is I'm actually going to catch the forest around this subject on fire.

00:04:07.875 --> 00:04:18.755
Cool. Right? And then we're gonna go back into Sea Dance two point o. Export your clip. Change the environment in at video one to match the environment in at image one. Ensure the

00:04:19.075 --> 00:04:22.115
all the stuff stays the same. Same exact

00:04:23.280 --> 00:04:24.640
same exact process.

00:04:28.480 --> 00:04:29.680
Trick number five.

00:04:31.120 --> 00:04:32.800
You say Way River.

00:04:32.960 --> 00:04:37.440
I generate this AI content, but it still looks like bullcrap.

00:04:37.440 --> 00:04:52.355
Well, it's where post production comes in, baby. So what we're gonna do, we're gonna go into DaVinci Resolve. There are few effects that I use when in color grading, when I color grade AI footage to make it look just a little more real. Alright? And from past videos, you understand that AI tries to be perfect.

00:04:53.280 --> 00:04:59.520
Realism is authentic. The rule of inclusion states that a diamond is more valuable the more impurities

00:04:59.520 --> 00:05:02.160
it has because it proves its authenticity.

00:05:02.320 --> 00:05:03.440
Authenticity.

00:05:03.520 --> 00:05:06.960
There it is. So what we're gonna do is we are going to go in

00:05:07.345 --> 00:05:12.625
to DaVinci Resolve. You can find edge detect, which is going to detect the edges of your

00:05:12.785 --> 00:05:25.920
subject. Add a Gaussian blur, and that is going to blur the outside just a little bit, so it's going to take away little bits of sharpness. We also have, everyone knows it, halation. It starts to bloom those highlights, little imperfections.

00:05:26.080 --> 00:05:28.640
From there, we also have grain.

00:05:28.720 --> 00:05:39.535
Everyone and their mother knows exactly what grain is. Alright? Speaking of your mother's essentials, if you are looking for them, you can check the link in the description, your mom's essentials

00:05:40.015 --> 00:05:41.215
power green pack.

00:05:42.095 --> 00:05:44.015
Jordan came up with that title.

00:05:44.975 --> 00:05:54.550
And another one that a lot of people don't think about, cameras and lenses, they naturally produce, like, this chromatic aberration. There's very small amounts of a red green pull that happens

00:05:54.710 --> 00:06:00.790
in your videos. So if you add that to the AI clips, it helps it look a little more real.

00:06:08.675 --> 00:06:11.315
Trick number six is more of a tool.

00:06:12.195 --> 00:06:13.955
It's called Higgs Field Canvas.

00:06:13.955 --> 00:06:26.180
Canvas, basically, you can take all of these tricks I'm telling you about and put it in a pipeline. So what I mean by that is you can create a custom pipeline for a specific trick, effect, or generation that you'd want. Listen, people.

00:06:26.820 --> 00:06:27.540
People

00:06:28.660 --> 00:06:29.380
create

00:06:29.860 --> 00:06:30.900
the pipeline.

00:06:31.060 --> 00:06:32.340
There's your system.

00:06:32.900 --> 00:06:37.380
Now you have a repeatable system that you no longer have to waste time

00:06:37.505 --> 00:06:39.985
doing an effect or a it's a preset.

00:06:40.625 --> 00:06:43.745
It's a preset, hotkey, whatever you want. Saves you time.

00:06:44.865 --> 00:06:47.985
Oh, that's the wrong way. There we go. Now

00:06:48.305 --> 00:06:53.105
trick number seven, I've talked about it in the prior video, and this is my favorite trick.

00:06:53.620 --> 00:06:56.580
Oh, buddy. Oh, buddy.

00:06:57.860 --> 00:07:02.580
The animated character. Now hear me out. We can create a full brand

00:07:02.820 --> 00:07:04.340
with our animated character.

00:07:04.660 --> 00:07:23.550
We are Walt Disney, and we are creating Mickey Mouse. So here's what we're gonna do. If you want it to be resembling you, which is what I wanted to do, take a few pictures of yourself, upload them to Nano Banana two, type in the prompt, create an animated version of this character. Now from there, you can also talk about the outfit. What do you want to be wearing? Because colors matter.

00:07:23.630 --> 00:07:34.695
After you determine what your animated character is gonna look like, your single shot. Now we're gonna put that back into Nano Banana two and start generating more angles. Generate a close-up of this character's face.

00:07:34.935 --> 00:07:49.660
Generate a close-up of this character's shirt. We are getting close ups and different angles of our character. Now you literally have the capability to create whatever content, to deliver whatever message you need to, all with an animated character.

00:07:49.820 --> 00:07:54.460
And we know animated characters work. I'm 26. I still watch SpongeBob.

00:07:58.220 --> 00:08:00.700
They work. When we use AI creatively,

00:08:00.700 --> 00:08:06.035
we use it as a catalyst or we should because it sheds light on who we are as a creative.

00:08:06.755 --> 00:08:08.835
If we are lazy creatives,

00:08:08.915 --> 00:08:20.630
AI is going to shed the light on it. If we are intelligent creatives, AI is going to shed the light on it. When we use AI as a catalyst and not to become lazy, well, one, we know that being lazy is very expensive.

00:08:21.190 --> 00:08:33.725
But, two, one of the main objectives of standing out as a creative is not being better than your competition, but it's being different than your competition, having no competition. So if you use AI from the jump, from the source, from the foundation,

00:08:34.125 --> 00:08:40.845
AI runs on the knowledge of your competition. So it's literally keeping you inside of a box.

00:08:41.085 --> 00:08:43.645
But when we use our creativity to go outside

00:08:44.440 --> 00:08:45.720
of that box,

00:08:45.880 --> 00:08:49.560
creating our own lane, AI is going to be a catalyst

00:08:49.560 --> 00:08:54.520
to help us get the creative work done. The Bible literally tells us how the creator

00:08:55.320 --> 00:09:00.785
shows his characteristics through his creation. He had the idea, and through his creation,

00:09:01.185 --> 00:09:03.265
he shows himself. This is the same for us.

00:09:03.665 --> 00:09:07.505
We have an idea. We have a divine

00:09:07.505 --> 00:09:08.225
vision

00:09:08.545 --> 00:09:21.300
that AI cannot give us because AI is keeping us in a box. We have a divine vision that we then use our tools to display our creation, and we are displayed through our creation just like our creator. Play that back if you need to because

00:09:21.700 --> 00:09:23.060
that was good.

00:09:23.940 --> 00:09:26.980
That was good. Okay. Remember, it only takes one

00:09:27.875 --> 00:09:29.075
to start creating.

00:09:29.395 --> 00:09:32.995
It only takes one to use your god given

00:09:32.995 --> 00:09:34.435
creative intelligence

00:09:34.435 --> 00:09:41.955
and let AI be the catalyst. It only takes one to make a change, and it only takes one to change the world, and that could be you. See you next time.
