§ 01 · The Hook

The bait, then the rug-pull.

A 21-year-old with no team, no employees, and no track record cold-pitched gym owners until one franchise connector walked him onto a stage in front of 50 of them — and that single introduction rewrote the math of the whole business. What follows is the system behind how it happened and why it keeps working.

The Bucket of Holes

Every local business is a leaky bucket — revenue escapes through five operational gaps. Each AI service patches one gap; selling a system patches all of them, which is why the price can be dramatically higher.

Steal for Any pitch where you want to justify bundled pricing over itemized services
02:17 list

5 AI Employees

  1. Outreach Specialist (database reactivation)
  2. Reputation Manager (reviews and referrals)
  3. Website Manager (speed-to-lead follow-up)
  4. AI Receptionist (missed call text-back)
  5. Marketing Director (paid ads and AI nurturing)

Five distinct AI-powered roles, each with a specific revenue leak it patches. Sold together as one system rather than five line items.

Steal for Structuring a service offer around role-based framing instead of feature lists

The Franchise Flywheel

Franchise and network clients in non-competing markets are incentivized to share what works. One strong result triggers warm intros across the entire network with compounding growth and zero cold outreach.

Steal for Any services business looking to reduce client acquisition cost and build organic referral loops

The 4-Rule Ad Framework

  1. Write at a 5th grade reading level
  2. Call out your target market in line one
  3. Use high-contrast visuals that catch attention while scrolling
  4. Sell the outcome, not the features

Simple rules for writing local B2B lead-gen ads that convert without requiring advertising expertise.

Steal for Any direct-response ad written for a non-technical local business audience
§ · Quotables

Lines you could clip.

01:02
"Every local business is like a bucket full of holes. The water is the money the business makes, but with their current holes, they're losing money every single day."
Clean visual metaphor that makes the whole system make sense in one sentence → IG reel cold open
13:20
"When someone comes from an ad, you're not convincing them they have a problem. They've already identified they have a problem and they're now coming to you."
Reframes paid ads vs cold outreach as permission-based vs adversarial — standalone insight → TikTok hook
20:25
"Getting leads is not hard. I just showed you that. Closing them is."
Perfect closer — honest, punchy, creates curiosity for the next video → Newsletter pull-quote
§ · CTA Breakdown

How they asked for the click.

20:25 next-video
"I explain how this works in seven simple steps and show real examples of me using it in this video right here, so click that video to watch it."

Clean hard sell into the next video. Sets up genuine tension — knowing the system vs selling the system — so the CTA feels like the natural next step rather than a plug.

§ 04 · The Script

Word for word.

HOOK opening / re-engagementCTA the pitch
00:00HOOKSeven and a half years ago, I started an AI business without a single employee. I didn't have a team of developers or marketing experts. It was just me.
00:08HOOKAnd today, that same business has made me over $25,000,000. And the crazy part is that anyone can start this business using AI right now today. And I've helped complete beginners start and grow this exact same business over 6 figures per month.
00:22HOOKSo I know that this works every single time, and I'm not talking about building an app or selling automations. It's a completely different business. One, where the opportunity is wide open still to this day because most people don't even know that it exists.
00:35HOOKSo in this video, I'm gonna show you exactly what this business is, what you're selling, who you're selling it to, and then how to land your first client or customer. Let's So go ahead and get into it. Now, if you've searched how to start a business, you've probably heard that you need to find a problem to solve, and that's completely right.
00:50HOOKThat's where everything begins. But there's a better approach that changes how much money you can actually make, and almost nobody talks about it. So what we don't wanna do is we don't wanna solve one problem because what ends up happening is when you only solve one problem,
01:03you leave a bunch of leaks in the bucket. Okay? And so what that brings me to is this.
01:08So every local business is like a bucket full of holes. So that's kinda how you need to be thinking about it. The water is the money the business makes, but with their current holes, they're losing money every single day.
01:18Now most people that are trying to start a business will think that they need to find a solution to a problem. But if you're just running ads for a business or just offering one automation or AI solution, you're plugging one hole in the bucket. The water is still leaking.
01:32The business is still losing money. And because you only save them a little bit of water, they can only afford to pay you a little bit of money.
01:39But when you take all of those services and connect them into one system, something completely different happens. You're plugging every hole instead of just one. So the bucket actually holds water
01:49now, and the business starts to make more money after you've plugged all those holes. And so if we just look here, you can kinda see the difference between one service versus one system.
01:59You can charge significantly more money because you're selling a complete system that plugs every single hole in the business. Think of each part of the system like an AI employee working twenty four seven. Each employee has their own job that they specialize in, but they work together as a team to get the best results possible.
02:16Now the options are endless, so I'm about to break down exactly what employees you should have in your team to make your decisions a lot easier. That brings me to the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that is what I call this system, where each part of the system is an AI employee working twenty four seven.
02:31Each one has a job, and together, they end up functioning as a team to create a much greater outcome than what they would be able to get independently or on their own. And so here are the five AI employees that we're looking at, the outreach specialist, the reputation manager, the website manager, the AI receptionist, and then the marketing director.
02:48So we'll go to the first one, the database reactivation. Okay. So really what we're doing here, this employee
02:54is gonna be reaching out to the old leads and patching the leak that is that businesses just don't reengage their old leads. And so that's what this AI employee will do is it will get these old leads to come back into the business because most of these businesses don't do anything with them. The second employee is the reviews and referrals
03:11employee or the reputation manager. And so the leak that this one patches is it ensures that the reviews on Google are being generated consistently because what the data shows is that 98% of people reference reviews before becoming a customer, but only 11 of businesses ask people for reviews.
03:28And so this employee ensures that these businesses are getting reviews consistently so that they rank higher on Google, and so that when people search them up, they can see that people are having a good experience with whatever it is they're selling. And then in addition to that, we're reaching out to these people asking for their friends and family if they'd like to come in generating referral based leads for free without
03:47the business owner having to do anything or their team having to do anything. They don't have to lift a finger. The third AI employee is the website manager,
03:54and so what this is doing is it makes sure that every single lead that opts into someone's website is followed up with it right away. On average, businesses take forty two hours to respond to leads, but if you do within five minutes, your chances to get someone to become a customer can increase by over 400%. So all we're doing right here is capitalizing on that speed to lead with this employee, and then the fourth employee is the AI receptionist.
04:14And so what the data shows is that about 62 out of a 100 calls are missed by businesses, and so this ensures that every single call that is missed is followed up with right away to make sure that the business can capitalize on all of that incoming traffic. And then the final one is the paid ads plus AI nurturing, or what I like to call the marketing director.
04:33And so what we're doing here is running paid ads for these businesses and then nurturing them for them. And marketing is the most invested into service that businesses will pay a lot of money for. And really, a lot of people overcomplicate how you actually go about doing this.
04:46And so what I wanted to do is just show you how to actually go about running paid ads if you've never done it in your life before. So this is my business, Gym Members Now. And what you should do is you should find an agency that you're looking to compete with.
04:57So let's say, for example, you wanted to go after gems, just like me, my agency works with gems, the first thing you would wanna do is find their Google reviews, and then find somebody that recently left them a review. So here's Jake. He's a customer of mine.
05:08If you look him up and you find him on LinkedIn, what you're gonna find is that he owns this Alloy in Encinitas in California. And so what you wanna do is you wanna find these people that are leaving reviews for these agencies, and then look to see what ads they're running for those businesses, because what I'm gonna do here is I'm gonna go to the Facebook ad library, which is something that anyone can go to, which shows all of the active ads that are currently being run.
05:29So now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go over here and look up Alloy and Cenides, and what we can see is that these are all the ads that my company is running for them. And so what you will find is that if you're going after an agency that has tons of reviews and is extremely credible like my business, the chances of what they're doing being something to copy is probably gonna work extremely well.
05:50And so that's exactly what you wanna do when you're first starting out because that's gonna be able to ensure that you get these businesses great results. And so that's really all you need to do when it comes to actually running paid ads for these businesses is just find someone that you can copy. And so that five AI employee system is the exact system that I've used to generate over $25,000,000 in revenue with my agency, Gym Members Now.
06:11CTAAnd so the reason why I'm making videos like this is because I was considering selling my business, Gym Members Now, that's worth over $5,000,000, and what my broker told me was that if I could help other people build the exact same business like mine, and then roll it up into a portfolio and help other people working within different industries, for example, like HVAC,
06:30CTAchiropractors, med spas, realtors, insurance agents, if that I was able to help them grow their agency to the same level of mine, we'd be able to roll our businesses up into a portfolio and then sell them for five to 10 times more money than I'd be able to get independently selling on my own.
06:43CTASo if that's something you're interested and considering or getting help with, working directly with me one to one, feel free to check the link out below in the description. You can apply to partner with me. We'll end up having a one to one conversation where I'll be able to see if I think you'd be a good fit or not, and if you are, great.
06:57CTAIf not, no big deal either. I'll continue to give you the free value. And so with that being said, one thing I wanna show is proof that I've actually made the money that I just claimed to make.
07:05So this is one of my payment processors. You can see here that we've done $668,000. If I go over here, what this shows is this is that entire payment processor.
07:13It only shows the last twelve months, so I can't actually show the entire time we've been using it, but we've been using it for like, twenty two months now. You can see we've run $4,600,000 through it.
07:21Right here, this was a processor called Allen that we used. You can see right here that we invoiced in total $8.39 on this account. For this one, you can see in total we invoiced 400,000 on this account.
07:30You can see on this one, it was 72,000. You can see on this one, it was a lot, 4,800,000. On this one, it was 682,000.
07:39On this one, 3,053,000. And then what this shows is the amount of money we've been able to make our customers just through Allen. And then on Allen alone, we ran $9,900,000
07:48through it. This was actually a software Alex from Mozy built. We no longer use it though.
07:53And this is a Stripe account where we ran 6,500,000 through. Another one where we ran almost a million, 782
07:59k, 1,350,000, 90 k, and then last but not least, 945 and 523.
08:05So the only reason why I'm showing you that is to just show you proof that what I'm actually talking about is something I do. And like I said, if you're interested in building an agency that's extremely successful like mine has been, feel free to apply to work with me and help build this portfolio that could be worth a lot of money.
08:19Now, if you try to work with every industry, every client becomes a custom project that will not scale, and trust me when I say that, you have to consistently change everything because your client's business will be completely different.
08:30So instead, pick just one type of client and sell the same system over and over again, just like what I've done, right? I was showing you reviews customers have left my business, gym members now. That's because we're able to get them great results.
08:42The reason why we're able to get them great results is because we just work with gems, and it makes it very, simple to get them good results because you're just doing the same thing over and over again. And one thing you wanna make sure you do when you're doing this is you wanna find customers that charge their customers a lot of money.
08:57So for example, I work with gyms. Gyms don't charge their customers a lot of money. So what we do with gyms is we help them get high ticket training clients.
09:04It's not like we help them get 30 to like 10 to $50 a month members. We help them get 200 to $400 a month training clients. So think about med spas.
09:12They're selling $100, if not thousand dollars monthly reoccurring services. Think about contractors that do remodeling or sell, let's say, example, generators that kick on when your power goes out. Contractors that sell those things, they make about 4 to $5,000 in profit per sale they make.
09:28So if you can just get them a customer a month, you can easily charge them $45, and I have helped people that actually do do that, and then it's very easy because all you have to do is keep rinsing and repeating that exact same process over and over again. I have a guy that's 23 year old years old that's I have the video of it on my YouTube channel where he was able to do a generator in sellers.
09:47He's now doing a lot more money than that. Then I have another guy that was able to charge $3,000 a month to med spas because they just charge so much money to their customers. And so that's really what you wanna do when it comes to this.
09:57Now, one thing I wanna give you is a little bit of a cheat code because when it comes to growing a business like this, the thing that's worked the best for me is not just going after a bunch of random independent businesses, because the issue with that is if you work with a guy, let's say, in your town that has an independent business, and let's say you're helping him, he's a he's a plumber, he's not gonna tell other plumbers in the area to work with you, because that's a conflict of interest.
10:19That's gonna hurt his business. But if he's a part of a franchise where there are hundreds of plumbers, if not thousands of plumbers, all across the country in different markets where they don't compete with each other, he is gonna tell those people to work with you. And matter of fact, within a franchise or a network like that, these people are incentivized to talk to each other about what's working and what's not working, and so the flow of ideas is rampant.
10:42It's all over the place. It's a very common thing, and so because of that, if you can get someone like this really good results, what's gonna end up happening is they're gonna share what works with these other franchisees, and then when that ends up happening, you create this flywheel of warm intros where people are coming to you, and it makes it very easy.
10:59Right? Like, if you're doing cold outreach, trying to get customers, begging them to work with you versus a customer telling another potential customer to work with you and then they come to you, it is nine day in terms of how easy it is to actually make something like that work. And what I wanna show you is an example of this.
11:14This is my Facebook personal profile. What I have on here is examples of this. And so if I just go to this one right here, this recent testimonial of this guy named Rob, what I'm gonna be able to show you is that he got great results with us, and so far, he's referred us to like 16 people.
11:30And those 16 people are now generating us, in total, over $20,000 a month in reoccurring revenue, and I spent $0 to be able to get those customers. So what I'm gonna do is run this so you can kinda see the power of going after franchises versus going after independent businesses. Else that's in the approved
11:46Alloy personal training ecosystem, all the preferred vendors. One preferred vendor actually bought another preferred vendor.
11:52So there's market consolidation happening in real time. And the reality is you had limited unless you know somebody, I was fortunate enough to get introduced to you guys,
12:02and I was the first person inside of Alloy to use you. Right? And the reality is sometimes you have to go out and take a shot on somebody.
12:09And so I like to eat my own dog food. I like to drink my own champagne, and I would never recommend to anybody anything that I haven't used before and then explain to them what the pros and the cons are of using. And the reality is I I choose you guys every time.
12:23You guys have been a great partner. I I refer you guys out to a ton of people, and I would never hesitate to do that in the future. Okay.
12:29And so there you can see exactly what I was talking about, where he has referred us to a ton of people, simply because he's in a franchise, and these people talk. And so you really wanna avoid going after independent businesses because it's linear.
12:43You don't have this asymmetrical growth, this compounding growth potential flywheel opportunity, where I literally ended up having one guy that referred me out to over 200 business owners back in 2019 when I first started my business, and he even had me come speak on stage at an event that he was running in front of over 50 gym owners where I literally just pitched them on what we did, and I was 21 at the time, and this is that event.
13:08This is me there, uh, and this is the guy that invited me to it, and this one individual helped me work with over 200 business owners in six months. He took my business from basically $2,000 a month in reoccurring revenue to over $70,000 a month in reoccurring revenue, and I didn't pay him a single red cent in referral fees because he didn't want anything.
13:26I asked him. I wanted to pay him money. I felt awful not giving him money after he basically turned me into a millionaire just because I was getting him good results, and he didn't want anything.
13:36He just wanted me to keep getting his business great results, and so that is the power of going after franchises. Okay? So what you need to do now is actually start finding these people that you can start working with, and here's how you do that without having to spend hours a day making basically no progress, which is really what most people do.
13:52Most people start with sending DMs, cold emails, or calling business owners, but you kinda have to ask yourself this, and if you've been doing that, you know. How do you feel when you get a call from someone you don't know?
14:03You just wanna end the call as soon as possible or you're not gonna even pick it up. That's what a franchise owner will think when you're cold calling them, cold DMing them, or cold emailing them. But there's a completely different way to flip that dynamic, and it's paid ad.
14:16Okay. You see, when someone comes from an ad, you're not convincing them they have a problem. They've already identified they have a problem based off the ad you're running, and they're now coming to you.
14:25They're basically raising their hand, saying that they need help, and that's why they opted in. And so if you're completely new to this, it may sound like something complicated.
14:35I can remember before I'd run paid ads, was very overwhelmed and just, I'm never gonna be able to know how to run paid ads. I thought it was this so complicated thing, but it's actually really simple, and I'm gonna make it even simpler for you. I'm gonna tell you the exact ad framework that I've used over the last seven and a half years now, scaling my business to do over $25,000,000.
14:53I'm gonna even show you some examples of what that looks like in this AI that I built to kind of do it. Okay? But again, you wanna flip this entire dynamic,
15:01and then from here, when it comes to paid ads, these are the rules that you wanna use. You wanna write out a fifth grade reading level. You wanna call your target market one line.
15:09You wanna make sure that the visual, the creative, is high contrast that actually catches people's attention because that's what they'll see when they're scrolling, and then you basically wanna sell the outcome, not the features. So you don't wanna be talking about my new AI system is agentic and it it works like this. You wanna be saying, this system's gonna save you time and make you more money than you've been making.
15:26That's really what you wanna be doing. And so, really, what this looks like is this. This is one of the ad accounts of somebody that I work with and help that had no idea how to run ads ever before in his entire life, and he goes after electricians.
15:37And as you can see, yesterday, he spent $5 and got two leads for $2.57. Before he was doing this, he was doing cold email, cold outreach, and this guy actually had quit his job at the start of the year, and he was in a rush to start getting customers, but he was doing cold outreach and he was making literally no progress working a ton.
15:55And now, where we're running ads, you can see he's spending basically no money at all to get an insane amount of leads, and he had never run ads before in his life because I already know what works and I just showed him exactly what to do. This is another example of someone that I've been helping, and as you can see here, yesterday alone, he was able to get almost 50 leads, and he's going after med spas.
16:14And so you can see the results are just absolutely insane. And this is another person that's going after insurance agents where you can see, again, just getting insane results when it comes to ads, where you can see 320 leads for $2.80. We just look at this one over the lifetime, right, you can see just absolutely insane results.
16:31And if I go here, what you will be able to see is my actual ad account, one of my ad accounts for my business gym members out, where you can see we've spent a ton of money and generated tons and tons of leads, right, where you can see one of our most recent campaigns. This one in particular was getting leads for $5.45. Right?
16:49And so that's really what this comes down to. And so what I wanna show you real quick here is this, and what this is is this is an AI I made that actually helps you how to make proven ads based off all of the money I've spent building and running successful ads for my agency, Jim Rivers Now. So let's say, for example, let's say I wanna go up for chiropractors.
17:07So I'm gonna just put that in, and then from here, what it's gonna do is literally give me ad copy, ad headline, ad description based off what is already proven to work based off the ads that I've been running. So you can see here, right, it's talking about getting the results. It's not talking about the features.
17:22More booked appointments, more patients actually showing up, etcetera. You can see the headlines right here. These are all proven to work.
17:27You can see the description, and then now from here, it will even tell you what you need to do for the creatives, and it will even make the creatives for you as well, which is awesome.
17:37And so I'm just gonna ask you to make me the creatives, and then now what I'm gonna kinda show you guys is is what you need to do at each stage. So this is what it looks like as far as making an actual ad, and this is the ad set level. At the campaign level, you can make this very simple.
17:50All you need to do is make the campaign objective leads, and that's it. So you just need to be using a lead form. From there, this is the part where people typically get tripped up because there's so many options.
17:59All you're doing at the ad set level is determining what audience you're gonna show the ads to. Okay? So when it comes to the ad set level, all we wanna do is what I have right here.
18:08This is exactly what you wanna do. Okay? You can kind of ignore dynamic creatives because all that means is I'm giving Facebook
18:14a bunch of different images, a bunch of different headlines that they can test out. This this has no impact in here, so it doesn't really matter if you're using dynamic or not. You set what you're gonna spend, and then from here, as far as your audience is concerned, and again, this is where people get tripped up, you just wanna make it open.
18:29Okay. So we go after gems, so what we do is we go after Canada and The United States, and then we exclude Quebec because they speak French. I don't speak French.
18:36No one on my team does. We have no interest in going after them. In addition to that, we only go after people above the age of 27 because most people that are below the age of 27 do not own and operate a gym.
18:46Therefore, it makes no sense to run ads to them. It'd be a waste of money. Okay?
18:49For your industry, it might be different, but this is what we found to work really, really well. Now from there, we don't do anything else. Right?
18:55We're not using a lookalike audience. We're not using a custom audience. We're not using any interest based targeting either.
19:00It's literally open. You can see the estimated audience is two point or two two hundred eleven million to 250,000,000. Now, in addition to that, you can see here if what we look at are the placements,
19:11it's again very, very simple. Okay.
19:14And so this is what you need to do for here as far as the placements are concerned. I had to open these up, but all you need to do is this and this, and then you're advertising on both Facebook and Instagram, and again, that's literally it. You don't need to advertise on any of these.
19:28We haven't seen them work well. We've tested them out, and that's really all you need to do as far as the targeting is concerned in here. It's very simple.
19:36And then now, if I come over here, as you can see, it literally just made it creative for the ad that I know is gonna convert extremely well, and has proven to convert extremely well. That is what's been able to generate all these results like this where people are literally getting leads for no money. The most important thing is that if you're trying to acquire customers running
19:56cold DMs, cold calls, cold email, It can work, but it's extremely difficult, and if you don't have any proof of results, convincing these people that you can help them out and getting them to pay you money, at least when you're getting started out, is very hard, and I know because I literally did that. It it was what got me my first couple customers, but then from there, that guy that I showed you referred me out to so many other people.
20:16CTAAnd so running paid ads is how we get the majority of our customers now because it's so consistent, and we figured out how to spend very little money to get a lot of money in exchange, which is literally what I just showed you. So now you have the complete blueprint to build a one person business with AI,
20:33CTAbut here's the very important thing. Knowing the system and selling it to business owners are two completely different skills, and that's where most people fail. And there's a specific sales process I've used over 4,000 times that closes over 50 of my sales calls,
20:48CTAand I explain how this works in seven simple steps, and I show real examples of me using it in this video right here, so click that video to watch it so that if you follow what I just outlined for you in this video, you actually know how to close the people as well, because this is really which determines people's success.
21:05CTAGetting leads is not hard. I just showed you that. Closing them is.
21:09CTAI'll see you in the next one.

The system beats the service, and the network beats the individual.

WHAT TO LEARN

Charging more and growing faster in local-business services comes down to two structural choices: what you sell (a system, not a single service) and who you sell it to (franchise networks, not independent operators).

  • Bundling multiple services into one system reframes the value conversation from what does this cost to how much am I losing without this — the second question always yields a higher price.
  • Franchise and trade-network clients share results internally because non-competing franchisees benefit from helping each other; independent business owners never refer you to a competitor in the same market.
  • Speed-to-lead is an arbitrage that still works: businesses averaging 42 hours to respond are leaving a 400% conversion advantage on the table for anyone who responds in under 5 minutes.
  • Review generation is self-funding for a client: 98% of buyers check reviews before purchasing, but only 11% of businesses systematically ask — an automated prompt changes that overnight.
  • Paid ads with a fully open audience let the platform find the buyers; over-segmentation with interest layers and lookalikes typically shrinks reach without improving lead quality for local B2B.
  • Copying the ads of the most-reviewed agency in your chosen niche is a legitimate starting strategy — if they have the reviews, the ad is likely working.
  • Knowing the business model and selling the business model are separate skills; getting leads through a working ad system is only half the equation — closing the conversation is the other half.
